Employee engagement software vendor Limeade has released new software modules to help large enterprises diversify...
their workforces and better track engagement and communicate with workers.
Inclusion+ is a set of employee engagement software tools and content that measures workplace inclusion, and offers practical recommendations to employers, managers and organizational leaders to help improve employee experience, according to a product release.
Inclusion is a sense of connection employees feel at work, and includes feeling valued, respected, safe and connected, Laura Hamill, chief people officer and managing director of the Limeade Institute, said in the release. Workplace diversity is also part of inclusion.
To address employee engagement and other workplace issues, the Inclusion+ platform uses interactive quiz and survey technology to provide the following capabilities:
- Measurement. The software uses pulse surveys several times a year to find out if employees feel comfortable voicing opinions, like they belong in the organization, have access to a sponsor, are valued at work and that a variety of backgrounds are represented at work.
- Insights. With a real-time dashboard showing inclusion survey results, employers can filter and understand results and trends and make plans for change.
- Action. The dashboard provides a series of recommendations for employer, manager and leader activities that are integrated with the Limeade well-being and engagement system.
- Communications. Tools and templates for corporate wellness and survey program launches and follow-up emails to inform employees of the importance of an inclusive workplace and how to participate.
Limeade also expanded its employee engagement software with Limeade Engagement+, a measurement and engagement engine to drive real-time improvement across organizations, according to a release.
"We approach employee engagement through the lens of well-being. We know when companies invest in the well-being of their people, their people are more engaged," Hamill said in a release. "Today employees are struggling. They're disengaged, depressed and disconnected from purpose. Or they're stressed out, self-medicating and burning out. This is becoming a workplace epidemic that companies are scrambling to address."

The NelsonHall business IT consulting firm has released an assessment of leading HR technology benefits administration vendors.
The global firm, with offices in Newton, Mass.; London and Paris, uses its NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation Assessment Tool (NEAT) format for market research on various business segments, including HR tech.
In its Jan. 31 NEAT report, NelsonHall focused on benefits administration vendors in North America. The full report is available to subscribers and helps strategic sourcing managers evaluate vendor capabilities.
The report identifies the best-performing vendors overall, according to the company, with a specific focus on financial wellness and health and wellness optimization.
The vendors that are evaluated include ADP, Alight Solutions, Bswift, Businessolver, Conduent, Conexis, Discovery Benefits, Empower Retirement, Empyrean, Fidelity Investments, Mercer, Morneau Shepell, OneSource Virtual, Secova, TASC, Voya Financial, WageWorks, and Willis Employee Benefits.
StayWell acquires digital health firm
StayWell, a Merck subsidiary that calls itself a "health empowerment" company, has acquired digital health vendor Provata Health of Portland, Ore.
Provata says it has 500,000 individual users at 1,000 worksites, including employers, health systems and health plans, and municipalities and government agencies.
Like Provata, StayWell uses population health, employer well-being and patient education software to manage large groups of employees and patients with expensive-to-treat chronic conditions to improve their health and lower employers' costs.
In a release, the Yardley, Penn., company said by integrating its system with Provata's native mobile application technology, it will streamline user experience and deliver more physical and mental health benefits to users.
By adding Provata's capabilities, Staywell said it will extend its platform to include enhanced digital health coaching; real-time data analytics and dashboards to measure and support participant engagement and client reporting; advanced activity tracking; virtual reality to support meditation and stress management; access to a network of more than 80,000 U.S. physicians; integration with electronic health records to capture participants lab values and other health data; and digital health games.
